NutraScience Labs “Steps Up” to the 2015 Marcum Workplace Challenge
NutraScience Labs joined over 200 other Long Island-based corporations as participants in the 10th annual Marcum Workplace Challenge. The event was held on Tuesday, July 28th at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, New York.
According to Mindy Davidson, Event Director for the Marcum Workplace Challenge, a record-breaking 9,369 participants from 215 companies walked or ran the 3.5 mile course.

NutraScience Labs’ “Casual for a Cause” Fundraising Efforts Raise Nearly $1,600 for Vitamin Angels
NutraScience Labs announced today that its month-long “Casual for a Cause” fundraising efforts benefiting Vitamin Angels raised a total of $1,590.
Throughout the month of April, NutraScience Labs’ employees donated $5.00 for each day they wore jeans and business casual attire to the office. Given its success and popularity, the firm’s executive leadership team decided to continue the campaign in May. A new fundraising goal has yet to be finalized, but Steve Rolfes, President of Contract Manufacturing, is confident that the company will raise an additional $1,600 by month’s end.
According to Vitamin Angels’ website, the mission of the California-based, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization is to help at risk populations in need – specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children under the age of five – gain access to lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals. Vitamin Angels operates globally through local field partners in over 50 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America.

Twinlab Consolidated Holdings Expands Contract Manufacturing Capacity with the Acquisition of Nutricap Labs Assets
Twinlab Consolidated Holdings, Inc. (“TLCC”) and Farmingdale, New York-based Nutricap Labs LLC announced on Tuesday, February 10th the acquisition of Nutricap’s book of contract manufacturing business by TLCC’s subsidiary, NutraScience Labs, Inc..
The contract manufacturing business of NutraScience Labs will be headed up by Steve Rolfes, President of the Contract Manufacturing Division of TLCC’s subsidiary, Twinlab Consolidation Corporation (“TCC”). “Through NutraScience Labs, we intend to leverage our significant product development and manufacturing infrastructure to provide customers with the highest levels of product choice, product quality and service across a broad range of products and dose forms,” said Rolfes.
